Friend or Survivor

They both were in the same boat, but sailed quite differently. Life of Pi does not end with a Bengal tiger, his understanding of friendship begins with it. To survive a tiger can eat a man, while a man can cook a tiger too. But animal instinct too at times holds on..to only know what a human instinct can be. They both wanted to survive and they knew that they both could not do without each other. The only thing that kept me thinking, were they friends??? I guess no, they were just 2 survivors..who wanted to breathe for life. Just trying to imagine if they were friends, probably they would have not understood each other that well. In life too we meet such survivors, it is not necessary that we always be friends with them. The journey of life is more beyond that.... Guess that was Life of PI.
