Dialogue in Praxis

The CONTEXT in DIALOGUE is decisive and not the CONTENT. We often pay attention to the content and fail to understand the context, thus most of the time we fail in our human relationships. Thus, true dialogue is not seen in action.
Q: Even when we dialogue things don't get better?
A: It may be because when one speaks the other is not listening. Listening is important in dialogue. Most of the times we hear words, we don't listen. We should make efforts to listen to what other is actually saying and responding in a way where the other person gets an affirmation that he/she was understood. Here is where the context get clarity.
" Please hear what i am not saying". Sometimes in dialogue a good amount of wisdom is required. Here, do not react. Relax and try to understand what the other person is going through. Respecting the other person in the context is important. When you don't have respect for the other person, your dialogue is of no value.. it just becomes a conversation.
