Learning to connect

These two girls were walking besides me and were smiling at me. When i asked their name (I spoke in English), they were shy. I was wondering how to connect with them, as language was a barrier. Then thought of my young days where we played some crazy games with hands. I got them on table, asked them to place their hands the way the game would demand and then did a demo of how it worked. After few seconds, they got a hang of it and there we got going with our bonding. Hehe!! We just kept laughing and enjoying the process of this silly game, yet something that helped us connect. I am sure they have taught this to their other friends, and have made this game more innovative. We often wait for magical connections to happen. In my experience one needs to make efforts and must learn to connect. As it is something that adds value to our lives.
