MENU CARD

It is amusing to see people hold menu cards, as if they are holding a one year old baby in their  hands . It is like to calculate the entire budget for the month in 5mins, without even knowing the expenses. I am sure we all can connect  to this so called MENU CARD. Let’s start with the look of the menu card. Now you will definitely have 2 kind of menu cards on your mind. Let me guess, A) The one that looks really elegant. You enjoy the left part of this card with mouth watering names of the dishes (at times when they arrive you are disappointed) and when you move towards the right you only wish if you could afford / B) The typical laminated menu cards. The right side of this menu card most of the times keeps your heart beat on the left under control and when you move towards the left , you hate making choices. Menu cards grab your attention like a girl walking in mini skirt. The curiosity to know what is in store to feed your hungry tummy is something your mummy will never appreciate, especially when your mom is a great cook. Your dad will have adorable stories as to why he loves home food. And when you count on your boy friend he will be kind to take you and then make you pay for the same on his birthday. Your best friend will pay saying, “You pay the next time buddy”. In other words he/she is expecting a treat where the prices on the menu card can give you a heart attack. Some smart people just say, “to share the bill is to care about our pockets”. Food industry is growing day by day and so are the prices on the menu card. Either it is a restaurant, a dhaba, an ice-cream parlour, Pizza corner or any other outlet. The menu card is the last thing you want to see. So let’s get smart and make the right choices on the menu. Now connect this to your life, that’s your home work. Muaaaahh!!
