CHILDHOOD

It is the most beautiful stage in one's life. Well it is suppose to be, but there are many who don't get that deserving childhood. I have heard elders says, if you have a great childhood, you have a great life when you are old. Well that's just a phase, but my interaction with the elderly actually makes me feel that's true. Childhood needs to be valued and should be seen as human right. But, unfortunately in India and many other countries around the world the universal right to childhood is not achieved. Respect a child's dream and his/her point of view. Enculturation plays a vital role in shaping a child's values and the school adds to this course. When i see children laugh and play around, i so much wish i could be one of them, so innocent and so true. But you need not worry, you still have time. Just hang around with them and help them out in their silly projects for life. You will have an awesome time and cover up for all that you have missed.
